GUTHRIE FIREFIGHTER/PARAMEDIC

Jake’s love for fire apparatus began at a young age as he was raised around the Piedmont Fire Department where his father worked. While taking amateur photos most of his childhood, he began professionally photographing fire apparatus in high school. After high school, he obtained his fire and EMS certifications and got hired with the Guthrie Fire Department, where he currently holds the rank of Firefighter/Paramedic. Outside of photography, Jake enjoys working on cars, including two of his own antique fire trucks, as well as storm chasing and spending time with his girlfriend Janelle, who can often be seen by his side at shoots shining tires.
