The Kenton Fire Department is located in far northwest Cimarron County, and is the furthest northwest town in Oklahoma. Located in the area called Black Mesa, the department operates 2 brush trucks and a recently acquired tanker. The department only has a few members and only responds to a handful of calls a year. The departments response area is combined with nearby Wheeless-Mexhoma and both departments are dispatched together to any calls.

While trucks were not able to be pulled out or positioned for photos, we still wanted to share this extremely rare look into the equipment of one of the most rural towns in Oklahoma. Enjoy!
