Lamont Station 1
The Lamont Fire Department is located in southeast Grant County and operates 8 apparatus out of one station. The department protects a population of 400. The Department responds to approx. 80 calls a year and currently has 15 volunteers on roster.
Engine 12 - 1998 International/Pierce, Job #EB323 - 1250 Waterous/1250 Tank - Diesel/Auto - ex-Garber, OK
Engine 12 is first out for all structure fires at the LFD. Originally serving nearby Garber, it is still labeled Engine 20 from its former department.

Heavy Brush 11 - 1984 AM General/2024 Individual - 200 Hale/1500 Tank - Diesel/Auto
The newest addition to the department, Heavy Brush 11 was delivered in June 2025 and was build by an individual near Newkirk, OK.

Brush 14 - 2021 Ford F550/Cooper Creek/J&J - 200 Hale/500 Tank - Gas/Auto
The bed to Brush 14 was purchased by the department off of a different truck that was totaled in a fire. The truck and bed was then put together and upfitted by J&J Custom Fire. This truck can respond as a brush pumper and also has a full set of EMS equipment on it.

Rescue 16 - 2012 Ford F550/Blanchat B-27 Minuteman, Serial #122708 - 200 Hale/400 Tank - Gas/Auto
Rescue 16 is first out for all accidents and EMS calls for the department and is equipped with hydraulic extrication equipment.
Brush 17 - 2009 Ford F550/Blanchat B-5 Chaparral, Serial #080523 - 200 Rowe/400 Tank - Gas/Auto
Brush 17 is first out for all grass fires at the LFD.
