Richland Station 1
The Richland Fire Department is located in central Canadian County and operates 7 apparatus out of one station. The department protects a population of 1800 and covers an area of 16 sq miles. The department responds to approx. 225 calls a year and currently has 20 volunteers.
This year the department began staffing the station with 3 volunteers on Saturdays 0700-1900 to improve district response times and coverage, and will also staff the station on high fire danger days.
Engine 1 - 2011 International/Sutphen, HS-4954 - 1250 Hale/1000 Tank - Diesel/Auto
Engine 1 is first out for all structure fires and accidents. It is equipped with both firefighting and extrication equipment.
Engine 2 - 1987 Hahn, HCP-1222922687 - 1250 Hale/500 Tank - Diesel/Auto - ex-East Greenbush, NY
Engine 2 is the departments second out engine and can also respond to larger accidents if needed. Engine 2 originally served as Engine 42-11-3 in East Greenbush, New York.
Tanker 1 - 1995 Freightliner/2021 Parizek Farms - 500 ?/2500 Tank - Diesel/Auto
Tanker 1 is the departments only tanker. The current rendition of this truck was completed in 2021. This truck is equipped with a Deutz pony motor pump and can pump and roll if needed.
Brush Pumper 1 - 2010 Ford F450/2009 M&M/2010 RFD - 150 CET/400 Tank - Diesel/Auto
Brush Pumper 1 is first out for all grass fires and medical calls. The bed to this truck was taken off of a former Deer Creek (Edmond) truck that was totaled in a fire. The RFPD outfitted the rest in 2010 and have made additions to the rig throughout the years including updated graphics and lighting.
Brush Pumper 2 - 1990 BMY/2013 RFD - 200 Hale/900 Tank - Diesel/Auto
Brush Pumper 2 is the departments second out Brush Pumper and was built be department members in 2013.
Squad 1 - 2012 Chevy Tahoe - Gas/Auto - ex-NE Lincoln County, OK
Squad 1 is the Asst. Chiefs take home vehicle. The department received this truck in 2022 from Lincoln County, OK where it served at Lincoln County Sherrifs before going to NE Lincoln County Fire.
Command 1 - 2011 Chevy 2500 - Gas/Auto
Command 1 is the Fire Chiefs take home vehicle. The department was donated this truck from Thru-Tubing Solutions in 2019.
