The Sayre Fire Department is located in central Beckham County and operates 11 apparatus out of one volunteer station.

Engine 1 is first out for all out of town fire calls for the SFD.
Engine 2 - 2018 Freightliner/Southeast, Serial #H19452 - 1500 Waterous/1000 Tank - Diesel/Auto - ex-Owingsville, KY
Purchased in 2024 from Owingsville, KY, this is the newest addition to the department, Engine 2 is first out for all in town fire calls.
Eagle 1 - 1990 Pierce Dash, Job #E-5427 - 1250 Waterous/500 Tank75’ Stick - Diesel/Auto - ex-Abilene, KS
Named after the school mascot, Eagle 1 is the departments aerial device and originally served Abilene, KS.
Brush Pumper 1 - 2008 Ford F350/Blanchat - 200 Hale/300 Tank - Gas/Auto
The SFD has two very similar small brush pumpers, this one and a 2011 model that was not photographed.

The SFD has two Stewart-Stevenson's that are nearly identical, this one and Brush Pumper 4 that was not photographed.
Rescue 1 - 2010 Ford F550/Fouts - 200 Hale/300 Tank - Diesel/Auto - ex-Tolono, IL
Rescue 1 is first out for EMS calls and accidents. Rescue 1 was purchased used in 2023 from Tolono, Illinois.
