Piedmont Retired Apparatus

Tank Pumper - 1966 Ford American MC-5505-66 - 250/600 - GM - taken 2000
This was the PFD's first brand new unit and served until 2004. It is now privately owned by our very own Jake Logan.

The Tank Pumper has now been partially restored to its original outfit and is used in parades and funerals.
Engine 1 - 1984 Ford/Boardman, F-2603 - 1000/750 - GM taken - 2000
Engine 1 was the first true pumper for the department. This truck served until 2011 when is suffered a massive pump failure. The truck was then sold to an individual in Arkansas when it sat outside until 2023, when Jake Logan was donated the rig from the owners so that it could be restored.
Engine 1 - 1984 Ford/Boardman, F-2603 - 1000/750 - GM
Engine 1, later assigned Engine 3, is now privately owned alongside the Tank Pumper.
Engine 2 - 1974 ALF, PM-17-3748 - 1500/500 - DA - ex-Bethany, OK - donated to EOC FTC
Engine 2 served as the first out engine for Station 2 until the current Engine 2 was purchased. It was then donated to Eastern Oklahoma County Fire Training Center and then auctioned off in 2022, presumably for scrap.
Engine 3 - 1952 ALF, L-5009 - 750/500 - DM - ex-Bethany, OK - taken 2000
Engine 3 was purchased from Nearby Bethany, OK and was used as a reserve and parade piece until the early 2000s. It was then sold to a firefighter based motorcycle club, then sold to an individual where it is supposedly is being restored.
Engine 1 - 2006 Pierce Contender, 18457TR - 1250/1000 - DA
Engine 1 served as the departments first out engine until 2021 when it was rear ended, totaling the unit.
Engine 3 2010 International/KME, 7368 - 1250/1000/25 - DA
Engine 3 replaced the Boardman after the pump failure. Engine 3 responded out of Station 1 for a short time before spending the rest of its life at Station 2. It was sold to a department in New York in 2019.
Tanker 1 - 1964 Ford/Central/PFD - GM - ex-Okla. City
Tanker 1 was built by the department in the late 80's and served the department until the current Tanker 1 was purchased. It originally served as Oklahoma City Engine 3.

The tank from this unit was then placed in Tanker 2 and the chassis was sold to a nearby Ford dealer where it still sits today.
Tanker 2 - 1975 Mack/Howe 14431-H/PFD - 150/2000 -DA ex-Okla. City
Tanker 2 was originally a pumper for Oklahoma City. It then shortly served as a pumper for the PFD before being turned into a Tanker in the late 90's. This truck served until 2007 when the current Tanker 2 was purchased.

The truck then received an updated bed and lighting, also performed by department members. This truck was later reassigned to Brush 3.

The truck still serves the city but under the Public Works badge as a pump truck during the summer and a salt truck during the winter.

Another staple fire truck from my childhood, this beast of a truck served the department until 2018 when it was replaced by current BP1.

Originally purchased as Brush Pumper 2 to replace the Tank Pumper, this truck had a completely different look when purchased.
Squad 1 - unkown, ex-Oklahoma City, OK
This was the departments first rescue unit
Squad 1 - 1997 International/Boardman, E-0025 - DA - sold to Walnut Ridge, AR
Squad 1 was the first Boardman rescue to sport to crew area behind the cab.
