Tyrone Station 1
The Tyrone Fire Department is located in northwest Texas County and operates 6 apparatus out of one station. The department covers an area of 30 sq miles and protects a population of 750. The department currently has 9 volunteers that respond to approx. 40 calls a year.

Tyrone received this truck from forestry as seen in 2007. This truck has a rear mounted monitor that can be used for fire attack if needed.
Tanker 72 - 2008 Freightliner/2023 TFD - 400 John Deere/2500 Tank - Diesel/Auto
Placed in service just last year, Tanker 72 is the newest addition to the department. This truck is equipped with two 400 GPM John Deere trash pumps to fill multiple brush pumpers at once.
Brush 75 - 2015 Ford F550/Weis - 200 Hale/600 Tank - Diesel/Auto
Brush 75 was damaged in 2024 while fighting a fire. Due to heavy rains the truck became stuck in the mud and was burned over. Thankfully no one was injured and besides some wiring and cosmetics, the truck survived.
Brush 76 - 2022 Ford F550/Weis - 200 Hale/400 Tank - Diesel/Auto
Brush 76 is first out for all grass fires and medical calls.
