Woodward Station 1
The Woodward Fire Department is located in central Woodward County and is the county seat. The department protects a population of 20,000 and covers an area of 1200 sq miles. The WFD is the only paid department in the county, and is auto-aided with surrounding volunteer departments to most fire calls in the county. The department responds to approx. 2000 calls a year and operates 7 man shifts working the 48/96 schedule supported by 15 current volunteers.
Station 1 is located on the south end of town. Built in 2016, this building houses most of the departments equipment and all of their career and administrative staff.

Brush Pumper 22 - 2002 Oshkosh/ 2023 White’s Welding - 200 Hale/1500 Tank - Diesel/Auto
As you will see on all the following brush pumpers, none of them allow for firefighters to ride the truck and fight fire. The city has not allowed firefighters to do so for a number a years so the WFD either uses a red line from inside the cab or uses bumper mounted monitors on the larger trucks.
